Product Description

Ammonium Chloride is widely utilized as flux in metal industry for preparing before tin coating. It has chemical formula ClH4N with molecular weight of 53.49 g/mol. This compound appears as white colored hygroscopic solid with odorless nature. It is also used as expectorant in medical industry and as a food additive with E number E510. Ammonium Chloride has melting & boiling points of 338 & 520 degrees Celsius respectively with density of 1.519 g/cm3. It is an inorganic compound which is soluble in water and shows insolubility in diethyl ether & ethyl acetate. This compound serves as electrolyte zinc-carbon batteries and as thickening agent for various surfactant systems.
